Spiral have recently completed two spectacular external helical staircases for Babraham Science Park near Cambridge, working with Kier Construction and Archial Architects.

The stairs feature sweeping horizontal balustrading with stainless steel handrails and feature inset LED lighting, so that at night the helical balustrade resembles threads of DNA glowing in the night sky!

Following the success of this project Spiral are now carrying out further work on the Park and have also installed a stair on Babraham Hall, the head office of the Babraham Institute.
