This office staircase was part of a refurbishment project working with workplace design and office fit out specialists, Area.
Spiral UK managed the design, manufacture and installation of a dog-leg spine beam staircase for Royds Withy King Solicitors in central London. It was created to work perfectly with the overall commercial interior design of the building.

Dog leg spine beam staircase
The office staircase structure was made of mild steel with a specially fabricated central spine beam. The timber treads were American black walnut and the balustrade to the stairs and stairwell was in frameless glass with stainless steel handrails. This office staircase included a rest landing and gave access from the ground floor down to further office space.
