Modern staircase design was for a new build property in Cornwall.
The high-end home was designed around the central spiral staircases which serve three levels of the property.
Set in a sloping landscape, that forms part of a farm small holding, this lovely home is part of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The circular staircase is an imposing feature cutting through the house to give access to all floors of the home.
The beautiful oak treads compliment the overall interior design of the home, with the iron grey core pole and tread pan finishing this striking two-tone effect. The glass balustrade and open risers help disperse the space’s natural light maintaining the airy spacious nature of the design.
In addition to the internal spiral staircase, Spiral UK also provided the glass balustrade for the garden room and landings.

Bespoke spiral staircase at Venton Gassic, Cornwall
Spiral stairs make an excellent contemporary staircase design and this circular staircase was no exception. The mild steel core pole and tread pan were powder coated in an iron grey colour that contrasted beautifully with the thick oak treads. This created a wonderful corkscrew effect, as the stair moves through the circular openings of the stairwell landings, a stunning spiral staircase design.
The glass balustrade and open risers help diffuse the light between levels, with LED lighting enhancing the effect when needed.
